This points out what I was wondering since I first heard of the issue. The antenna has actually proven to perform well so long as you don’t touch that spot and it is a good looking design. Why isn’t this done from the factory? Surely there is a transparent insulating material out there that could have done the job while not looking ugly.
I hope HTC is paying attention. I too have wondered why the “mainstream” phone has more attention to design than the “premium” ones.
